In this workshop, participants will gain basic skills with data visualization, graphic design, and message branding in order to tell their assessment story. We will begin with an overview of assessment data visuals and the basics of graphic design. Participants will then be able to practice their skills with sample data. Participants will also have the option to utilize their own assessment data to create visuals with input from a visualization specialist and graphic designer. Participants are asked to bring their laptops with Microsoft Excel in order to have hands-on practice with sample data. A graphic designer will be on hand for consultations about design and color choices for presenting data effectively.
